Yueqi Wang is an MFA student in the industrial design department at Savannah College of Art and Design. She is fueled by her passion for product and furniture goods design. She considers herself a ‘forever student,’ eager to know and build foundations on her design path. Yueqi Wang is a girl with many talents, including woodworking, computer modeling, creative thinking, team leading, and teaching. Moreover, in daily life, she likes to make pieces of jewelry, cook, and travel around. She believes that mixing talents with her experience, and fresh ideas with solid expertise, leads to truly outstanding works.
Ideation Sketching
Design ideation and sketching is a brilliant way to get the design process started. Yueqi Wang has been practice sketching for more than 12 years. She uses sketching as the fastest way to present her ideas to her colleagues and clients.
Digital Prototyping
Yueqi Wang always digital prototype products before physical produce them. It helps save time, money and offers a faster way to test products. Yueqi Wang is highly skilled with many software, including SolidWorks, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and so on.

Wood Working
Woodworking is one of Yueqi Wang’s favorite things to do. She loves the physical touch on materials and the proudness when finished. Woodworking also builds Yueqi Wang’s personalities. She learned to be brave, patient, detailed and peaceful.
Leadership
Leaders are born, not made. Yueqi Wang was born as a leader. She has experience of being the leader of Student Union as the president. She believes that true leadership is a result of self-enhancement coupled with acquired knowledge. She cares about people around her and she mentors without having to be asked; offers help without expecting any returns.

WW Tray
A tray for serving Chinese white wine

This is a tray made for serving Chinese traditional white wine. It was inspired by "Ying" "Yang"'s prenatal eight trigrams. It advocates having positive and negative together. The upper space on the tray is for holding peanuts that Chinese usually eat with white wine. The tray was made of solid natural maple wood, cut by CNC machine. The wood surface was finished with bee wax and cutting board oil, which are both food safe. The shape of WW Tray is a humanized design which leaves a smooth space for user’s hands and stomach. On both sides of the tray, spaces were left for holding and lifting.

This Chocolate bowl is called "Cloud". It was inspired by the shape of a cloud. One bowl can contain up to 10 pieces of Chocolate balls/Truffles. There are three color versions-white, frosted and transparent. People can use several of them and make different combinations on the table for decoration. The thermal forming technology was used for this product.
Roundy Smart Bike Lock is a user-friendly bike locking system. It is being controlled by mobile app and safe, easy to use. It provides multiple functions, including GPS tracking, locking, alarming, health tracking, head lighting, self-charging… It offers a more robust locking system that achieved bicycle theft prevention.
